I build data and AI solutions - from the requirements through to production.

Ask me anything.

Questions about my work or projects? This chatbot answers from a summary of my CV. If it doesn’t know, it’ll point you to me.

It’s an AI, so it can get things wrong. Please don’t rely on anything it says - if it matters, check with me directly.

Runs on OpenAI’s GPT-4o mini, working from a summary of my CV. Answers can be inaccurate. Your messages are sent to OpenAI to generate a reply and aren’t stored by me.

I’m a problem solver.

I find the slow, manual jobs.

I sit with the people who have the problem.

Then I build the fix myself - using AI and data to get there fast.

Built properly, with data protection in from the start.

A day with me.

Natural-language interface over Power BI - watch the demo on LinkedIn

Plain-English chat over reporting data. Microsoft’s Power BI MCP server reads the semantic model, an Azure OpenAI model writes the DAX, and the answer comes back formatted - so non-technical people self-serve instead of queuing for an analyst. No Copilot licence, and it all stays inside your own Microsoft tenancy.

    Information Management Toolkit

A toolkit I built for an information management team in construction. Five tools in one app, each replacing a slow manual job.

    • Python
    • FastAPI
    • React
    • IfcOpenShell
    • Azure
    • COBieQC

Checks a COBie asset-register spreadsheet against the rules for the project’s stage, and produces a colour-coded report of every pass and fail. A check that took about three hours by hand now runs in minutes.

    • Verification Reports

Reads a project’s live data hub, cross-checks it for completeness and consistency, and produces a sign-off-ready report.

    • Project Setup

Finds every placeholder across a project’s template documents, fills what it safely can, shows the rest for a quick check, then applies it all in one pass with a full undo.

    • Contact Search

Takes a list of companies with no contact details, visits each website, extracts the details with an LLM, and flags anything it couldn’t verify for a person to check.

    • IDS Check

Checks a 3D building model against published IDS rulebooks and gives a pass/fail per rule. Still in progress.

    Unstructured spreadsheet → Power BI

A messy resource-and-cost workbook gets dropped in SharePoint; a flow hands it to a Python Azure Function that flattens the weekly grid into a clean, normalised table and lands it where Power BI reads it. Upload and walk away - no manual reformatting.

    Waffler - visit wafflerai.com

A passion project I started in early 2026 as my own replacement for the likes of SuperWhisper and Wispr Flow. Hold a key, talk, let go: it transcribes what you said, strips the ums and mid-sentence corrections, and pastes clean text wherever you’re typing. Free and open source for Mac and Windows, on your own Groq key, so it costs pennies instead of a monthly subscription - and I use it every day.

The real overlay, from wafflerai.com: hold the key, talk, let go.

    103k words dictated

The desktop app: hold the hotkey anywhere, talk, and the cleaned-up text lands in whatever you’re typing into. Everything you dictate is kept in a searchable journal, with a custom vocabulary and per-provider cost tracking. That all-time counter is my own usage.
